Another A Story designs and produces brand experiences for clients such as Hermès, Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Drunk Elephant, Breguet and many more.

The experiences range from influencer trips to pop up shops, event set ups, installations and lounge activations. The company has an office in London and Los Angeles and presence in Dubai, New York, Miami, and Paris.

The team of 40+ consists of designers, producers, coordinators, PR, finance and operations.

Reporting into: US VP Client & Business

Roles & Responsibilities

The Account and Production Director at Another A Story will oversee all aspects of event production for US-led activations. Working closely with US VP Client & Business, this role will also focus on the agency’s East Coast business operations.

Serving as Executive Producer for major events, this role involves leading a team, nurturing and growing existing client relationships, and ensuring high standards of execution. You will work closely with the creative team to deliver innovative designs and collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute strategic business objectives.

Event Production Oversight

Oversee all event production elements and associated team members for US-based activations, with the support of the US VP Client & Business. Serve as Executive Producer for large, tentpole events, ensuring impeccable execution. Including but not limited to:

• Plan and oversee projects from initial stages through execution, ensuring all elements are in place for successful events

• Develop and maintain a consistent approach for engaging with agency partners and stakeholders

• Oversee budget development, management, tracking, and reconciliation, ensuring financial control and transparency

• Provide guidance on venue selection, programming, show flow, and technical ROS

• Ensure rigorous staffing plans and operational documents are developed

• Collaborate with external partners for event security and compliance

Internal Team Leadership and Mentoring

Lead and mentor the event production team, defining team structure, setting KPIs and evaluating performance. Inspire a results-driven culture focused on revenue generation, client satisfaction, and design excellence.

Team Resourcing and Management

Oversee resourcing across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring effective allocation of personnel and resources.

Innovation and Trends

Bring innovative thinking and executional expertise to each event, integrating the latest trends and technology.

Vendor and Partner Relationships

Build and maintain relationships with fabrication teams and regional production vendors.

Strategic Leadership

Actively contribute to the strategic vision for the US events team, aligning team efforts with the company’s broader business objectives.

Client Management

Lead and positively nurture client relationships, serving as a strategic partner for existing and new clients. Work under the guidance of the US VP Client & Business and Founder to develop and implement growth strategies.

Business Growth

Contribute to the crafting of compelling RFP responses with VP Client & Business, Senior Production Team and Creative Leads to drive new business.

Collaboration and Communication

Foster strong collaboration and communication across internal teams, external partners, and clients to facilitate alignment and drive project success. Act as a liaison between creative, production, and client-facing teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Continuous Improvement

Lead by example in promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the production team and across the organization. Encourage feedback, experimentation, and knowledge sharing to drive growth, efficiency, and excellence in all aspects of production.

Requirements

Rich experience: Extensive experience in executing high-end experiential events, with a proven history of successful outcomes in the beauty, fashion, or luxury sectors

• Collaborative skills: Proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines, and with remote teams, to meet campaign event goals and drive project success

Technical knowledge: Strong technical expertise in fabrication, signage, creative asset management, and audio/visual elements within live experiential activations

Documentation and presentation: Proficiency in creating decks, presentations, budgets, and run-of-show documents, with strong skills in spreadsheet management

Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and efficiency

Leadership and mentorship: Proven history of leading and mentoring teams, fostering a results-driven culture with a focus on revenue generation and client satisfaction

• Event production expertise: In-depth knowledge of event production processes, including technical and creative aspects, and the ability to bring innovative solutions to each project

• Strategic acumen: Experience in developing and implementing growth strategies, analyzing market trends, and driving revenue and profitability
