Jacquemus Bond Street Opening & Teatime Pop-Up
To celebrate the grand opening of Jacquemus’ first London boutique, we produced an immersive 3-day pop-up tea experience at the Bond Street location designed to bring Jacquemus’ signature twist to a classic British tradition.
Open to the public, the customer-centric activation aimed to attract high footfall throughout the boutique’s opening weekend, garner global press coverage and create massive social media buzz for the opening through consumer-driven conversations. The pop-up drew queues of guests over an hour long each day, including a large crowd of journalists and brand enthusiasts who arrived early on Day 1 to watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by founder, Simon Porte Jacquemus.
The experience was set in a minimalistic and monochromatic butter yellow room, transporting guests into the surrealist world of Jacquemus. Whimsical white-gloved waiters guided each guest individually through their interactive journey: First, guests pre-selected their orders on branded menus, then enjoyed the theatrical tea ceremony complete with branded biscuit bags and finally were handed a copy of “The Daily Jacquemust” —a bespoke satirical tabloid created for the occasion. A few lucky guests who received a special silver tea bag also won a Jacquemus “Bisou Chaine” bag.
